Just finished Fox Hunt and wanted to say Thanks for a great read! I bought this book for my father who then suggested that I read it as well.

James, I’m not much on technothrillers and espionage, but your author photo on your welcome page has, let’s say, (ahem) renewed my interest. If I were you, I’d have taken out a Times Square billboard with that on it. In word, Yikes!

Have just finished Patriot Act and wanted to congratulate you. I’m not usually a genre reader but was unable to put your book down. Loved the cracking pace, thrills, spills twists and turns of the story and of course the divine Mr Fox. Looking forward to reading a lot more of you in the future.

We met in Wonthaggi Big W and you are a fantastic guy! i finished Patriot Act and i hated the way how cruel Fate had twisted Fox’s life around with the “death” of Kate. I loved the way you put the person’s mind come into the book.
I cannot wait to read Blood Oil and i incourage anyone reading this to read Fox Hunt and Patriot Act.
I hope you read my book when it comes out James, and say hi to the Beasley family for me!

G’day James,
looking for a book two days ago and chose Fox Hunt over The Bourne Identity (figured it would be good anyway and wanted to find a new author). Seems I made the right choice. Just finished Fox Hunt - Bloody great read. Could not put it down. When is this book going to be a movie! I hope I can find the next Lachlan Fox book in the shops tomorrow!

Mr. Phelan, I love your work. Finished Patriot Act during a flight to London last year, and honestly, I couldn’t bring myself to put it down.

I have spent much time reading action thrillers and must say I enjoy the credible accounts your books portray. Certainly the prospect of annihilation from space has always been fodder for thriller writers however the use of Information in destroying our privacy and the lengths people in power will go to to ensure their power base has never exhausted itself. Judging from the name of your new book you must have a hotline to those people in power. I look forward to it with bated breath. Do you plan on releasing your contacts in the white house? I guess that falls under client privilege but your memoirs will be fascinating reading after the 30 year rule expires. Blood oil will be a MUST read. Thank you for your time

Hi James, Just finished Fox Hunt and found it a delight. Are you a Dirk Pitt fan as I found many parallels in the story. I am going out to find patriot Act immediately. Kepp up the great work!!!!
